About American Luxury Estates
American Luxury Estates brings together the most experienced team of real estate
publishing professionals with the nation’s finest real property brokers. Having
published upper-end property magazines since the early 1980’s, the ALE personnel
are well-acquainted with the top companies and agents throughout the country.
Realizing a potential purchaser’s interest is region specific, we currently
produce publications for four areas of the United States, allowing the reader to
peruse that section that piques their interest. To ensure that the book is
placed in the hands of qualified recipients, Realtor advertisers contribute
their private mail lists from their market area. For those who prefer not to
receive printed material and so that individuals have the opportunity to view
available properties from all areas of the country, we place a digital version
of each edition on our website. ALE management was one of the first to
understand just how globalized the real estate industry has become and we have
taken distribution a step further by broadcasting these digital issues to
hundreds of thousands of high net worth recipients worldwide via the Internet.
Many of our Realtor advertisers send the digital edition to their own list of
recipients. Feel free to tour our site, select the area of the country in which
you are interested and view our digital editions. The Search Properties and
Featured Brokers tabs can help you narrow your search in finding that perfect
property.
Luxury Estates Team Members
George Lane, Chairman of Real Property Marketing Group, has been involved
in real estate publishing since the early 1980s. He initially published a magazine
promoting real estate brokers' listings to the general public in Portland, Oregon.
After moving back to his native Texas to start a similar venture, the end result
was Pinnacle, a high-quality magazine displaying a market area's upper-end
real estate, distributed free-of-charge to that market's finest neighborhoods and
eventually published for 23 regions across the United States. In the mid 1990s,
he published Texas Farm & Ranch, a newsstand magazine devoted to exceptional
rural real estate. It grew to encompass five additional regional magazines covering
every state in the union (Rocky Mountain, America West and Midwest Farm &
Ranch as well as Northeast and Southern Country Estates).
He also was the creative mind behind Canvas, a magazine devoted to promoting
the burgeoning art scene around the state of Texas. In 2003, he created an international
publication, Residence International, with Realtor members throughout the
world. He sold his interest in this publications that same year. He now has pieced
together the most successful lessons learned in his publishing experience, culminating
in the current American Luxury Estates, an entity co-owned by real
estate brokers, granting Realtor-members sole representation for their exclusive
market area, and distributed via private mail list, newsstand display and the Internet.
This same intuitive publishing expertise led him to start American Luxury Estates,
a regional publication whereby the country is divided into six specific market areas.
Under his leadership, his publishing ventures continue to evolve, including digital
magazines for the collective advertisers, private label digital magazines for individual
advertisers, worldwide distribution through the Internet and an international referral
network.
Bob Hodgdon, Publisher of American Luxury Estates, brings twenty plus
years of marketing and advertising experience to his job. He was instrumental in
starting and managing 15 regional issues of Pinnacle magazine over the last
decade, and served as Vice President and Marketing Director for Regency Publishing
Group. Bob has many national contacts and is well-known by the top real estate professionals
throughout the country.
Roxanne Patterson, Production Director of Real Property Marketing Group, is
an accomplished designer with a unique balance of creative and technical
expertise, coupled with a strong background in digital/print advertising, layout design and
photo manipulation within the print, Web, real estate and photography industries.
For 7 years, she has helped clients develop corporate and brand identities, as well
as market positioning. A graduate of The Art Institute of Houston, her experience
ranges from advertisements, product packaging, logos and web page layouts. Her work
has been featured in several publications including Pinnacle, Residence International
and Farm & Ranch magazines.
Shay Tidwell, Production Manager with Real Property Marketing Group, has over
15 years of experience in the print advertising and publishing industry. She
joined Regency Publishing Group in 1994 as a production assistant and was promoted
three times within her own department as she learned all phases of the magazine
production process. Ultimately, a new department was formed to ensure the accuracy
of all publications. As Quality Assurance Manager, Shay was responsible for the
look of the finished product and to see that the published magazines were error-free.
She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her commitment to customer
service. Shay is excited about the potential of American Luxury Estates
and American Luxury Estates and what they bring to Realtors and
their prospective buyers and sellers. She looks forward to using her customer
service and quality assurance experience to help produce dynamic new products. Shay
attended Community College and is happily married with three active children.
Jennifer Sheppard, Associate Publisher for American Luxury Estates,
has worked in the advertising/publishing industry for 5 years. In 2005, she joined
the Farm & Ranch team of Regency Publishing Group as Regional Account Manager
for the Southern Country Estates publication and had the pleasure
of servicing the accounts of the most influential brokers in the rural real estate
industry. She is known to her clientele for her commitment to their individual needs,
her availability and her caring demeanor. She has a strong work ethic and a desire
to succeed. Jennifer grew up in rural East Texas and has a genuine love for country
living. She enjoys the beauty of the outdoors, fishing, cars and going for scenic
drives. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Business
Administration in Marketing and a minor in Management, she is currently continuing
her education and pursuing her Master's Degree.
Efren Garcia, accountant for Real Property Marketing Group, has more than 20 years
of accounting experience. For 10 of those years, he worked for such international
companies as Carnation and Gillette in Mexico City. In 1999, he began performing
accounting work for the company that would eventually become Regency Publishing
Group, handling such publications as Pinnacle and Farm & Ranch.
Four years later, he was named Controller for Regency and was in charge of inter-company
accounting for four entities, eventually adding Human Resources responsibilities
to his duties. His broad background in the accounting and publishing fields makes
him well-qualified to coordinate the accounting procedures for both American Luxury Estates and
American Luxury Estates. Efren is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Bonnie McFerren, Administrative Assistant with Real Property Marketing Group, has
been a valuable member of this publishing team for 14 years. First joining them
at Regency Publishing Group, she was a vital link in the customer liaison and accounting
sectors for the Pinnacle, Farm & Ranch and Residence International
titles. Prior to entering into what she calls "the exciting and creative atmosphere
generated by George Lane and Dick Lewis, no matter what project they are involved
in," she worked in medical, legal and entertainment industry settings. Bonnie maintains
that she uses all three experiences in her current job, where her talents ensure
that things run smoothly behind the scenes for the American Luxury Estates
and American Luxury Estates staff and clients.
